I pour myself a glass of sweet red wine

Give a toast to life

Savouring it

Roll it across my tongue

Bitter sweet as it goes down

Feeling  a lil giggly
from its effects

Helping me feel numb
easing painful regrets

Makes me dance without a care

Forgetting life's woe's & foe's
for a time

Sweet red wine

Makes me feel fine

I think a shall pour a glass tonight

Lift up my glass
give a toast to life
