~After The Rain, Life Dances~

Today my heart feels light
free as a bird in flight

My breath I hold no more
let all my burdens go

Breath in I feel alive,
once again..

Rain has come in the tears that now flow,
cleansing myself of confusion clouding my soul

A new wind has begun to blow

Laughter
 spilling out of me as happiness overflows

Water
splashing all around, my feet moving to a rhythm my heart & soul have found

I have found shelter in the storm

Accepting life
whatever it bestows

Rainbows always shine after the down pour

Forgetting the clouds & thunder as they roll

Pull up my skirt

Uncover my toes

Let my hair down & my spirit go...

Dancing to the rhythm of my heart

Singing to the music created within my soul
