I caught my refection there

I stopped and took a long hard stare

I cried for the girl in the mirror

Shed the unshed tears

I cried for the untold sadness in her eyes
she always tries to hide with a pearly white smile

Her spirit a rage

She desires better days

I caught a glimpse of her strength

She will make her way
try and stop her

I saw her smile say

I looked upon my reflection
and I like that woman's face

Though she has seen rough times
the sparkle in her eyes remains
