I went shopping the other day with the money I had saved

My eyes lite up when I saw it....

That beautiful dress

It was my favorite color green

The clerk said "it brings out your eyes"
as she opened the dressing room for me

All giddy at my find

The mirror spoke up and said that dress on you looks simply divine

Every angle revealead a perfect fit

This dress was made for me
every one in the shop could see

I found these earring's they match your new dress perfectly
she said while tempting & dangling them before me

I brought the dress to the register

I looked at the tag as I handed it to her

Miss, I've changed my mind
this dress is really not my style

I walked out the door
